Benjamin was born in 1975 in Bikita south of the capital Harare in the province of Masvingo. He is now married with a young boy.

He began sculpting in 2000 using wood, then a lucky meeting with Jonathan Gutsa changed his life. Jonathan a well known Zimbabwe Sculptor has been working with Stone Dynamics Gallery for a number of years. Jonathan encouraged Benjamin to use stone and showed him how to choose the right stone and the techniques to carve it. Benjamin now believes this new medium allows him to demonstrate more expression and feeling in his work.

Benjamin is an exciting talent and his style adds a new dimension to Stone Dynamics Gallery.
