Givemore was born in Nyanga, in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, in 1982.
During his education at Mazarura School, Givemore enjoyed drawing and painting. He started sculpting at Nyanga Craft Centre, and then moved to join his brothers in the capital, Harare.
By 2000, Givemore had gained the attention of gallerists, and began to exhibit his work in Europe and North America.
Givemore’s figurative sculpture explores the personalities of people within his culture, often connecting the viewer to their very spiritual essence. He also sculpts birds and – occasionally – abstracts.
His work is in the personal collections of clients in the United Kingdom, North America, South Korea, Germany, Netherlands and South Africa.
